About Us

Who Are We?

We are a group of believers that are passionately in love with Jesus and want everyone to know Him!

We believe God has given all of us a passion filled destiny to discover and it's never too late to find it.

Our leaders understand the love, forgiveness and resurrecting power of God and want to share it with you!

Sean has been helping people to breakthrough and breakout for over 26 years. He is a dynamic and humorous speaker who loves helping people. Sean and Micah live in south Oklahoma City and have three kids Saylah, Ava, and Ezra.

Sean, Micah and an amazing team of staff and volunteers are  building something special in Oklahoma City. A safe place for everyone where your brokenness is welcome. There are people that are down and out and people that are up and out and this is the place for both. A place where people from all walks of life will come together and seek God passionately. Seek His will for our lives so we can grow deeper, grow stronger and reach out to OKC and beyond!

Why "The Oaks"?

We see in Isaiah 61 that we are anointed by God to proclaim good news, bind up the broken hearted, proclaim freedom, release from darkness, comfort all who mourn, provide for those who grieve, a crown of beauty instead of ashes, oil of joy instead of mourning, garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. We are called OAKS of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor. We will Rebuild, Restore and Renew. Our lives, Our families, Our city, Our nation, Our world. One life at a time...

Isaiah 61: 1-4

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations."

We believe that we as individuals and we the church need to live this out boldly in our lives, community and around the world.
